Book an Appointment - Commissioner of Oaths

Thank you for your interest in booking an appointment with the Commissioner of Oaths. Please complete the details below, and Town Staff will be in contact regarding your request.

Reminders;

  • A Commissioner of Oaths is not a "Notary Public". If your document is required to be signed by a Notary Public, you must contact a lawyer and/or Notary Public.
  • Fee for Service - $10 per document, payable at time of signing by cash, debit or credit card.
  • I.D. Requirements - The request for Commissioner of Oaths service must be made by the same individual taking the oath and signing the document. You must provide one original piece of government issued identification (no photocopies permitted) that includes your photo and signature (i.e.: valid driver's licence, passport, etc.). The Commissioner is not authorized to sign documents without acceptable identification.
